Octoberfeast (I finally made a post, lol)

Ham

Ingredients:
  • 1 smoked ham (size doesn't matter)
  • 1 tablespoon cloves
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 20oz can pineapple chunks in juice (not syrup)
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries
To Make:
  • Preheat oven according to directions on ham package.
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine cloves, brown sugar, and juice from pineapple can to form a glaze
  • Place ham in baking dish and pour glaze over to coat
  • Pat brown sugar onto top of ham to create a crust
  • Surround base of ham with pineapple chunks and cherries
  • Bake according to directions on ham package

Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 4 14.5oz cans green beans
  • 2 10.5oz cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups crispy fried onions
To Make:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Drain green beans and pour in baking dish
  • Spread soup over green beans
  • Bake 15 minutes and top with fried onions
  • Continue baking additional 15 minutes or until onions are brown

Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder to taste
To Make:
  • Place eggs in pot of cold water and bring to boil
  • Boil 12 minutes
  • Place eggs in ice water to cool (about 5 minutes)
  • Peel and halve, placing yolks in bowl
  • Mash yolks and combine mayonaise, mustard, garlic powder and pickle juice
  • Scoop mixture into eggs
  • Top with sprinkle of paprika

Pumpkin Casserole

Ingredients: 
  • 1 29oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softenened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • Cinnamon
To Make:
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • In large bowl, mix together pumpkin, white sugar, eggs, salt, butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth
  • In medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, pecans, and allspice
  • Combine ingredients and pour into large baking dish
  • Bake in oven 30 minutes
  • Top with marshmallows and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over marshmallows
